Navigating around this site, looking for specific types of work, isn’t easy. I’ve been meaning to fix that, and I started making headway on it tonight. Over the coming weeks, I’ll be migrating all my work into year-based albums. It’s gonna get a little messy around here, but hey, that’s the way art works. :-/

A coworker wandered into my office, saw “Burning” sitting on my shelf, and asked me about it. We had a 1-minute discussion about it, where he asked the usual: “what does it represent?” I said something about burning leaves, and then he made toward the door.

For everyone who’s been wondering what the deal is with the vinyl dolls I’ve been posting pictures of, here’s the show information. Aerosol Warfare sold blank “Blow Up Dolls” manufactured by Jamungo. Artists are customizing them, and they will all be at Aerosol Warfare on June 26th. It’s a public show; bring your friends!

A few months back, I made a decision: in order to have all the time possible to work on art after my time at the office was done each day, exercise and consciously making an effort to take care of my (non-mental) health would have to go.

In my experiences with commissioned work, the projects that fell through were a direct result of my inability to convince a client that “yes, the art really is worth the amount that I’m asking.”
Perhaps my frame of reference on this is wrong, or skewed, because I purchase art based on how it makes me feel [...]
