I know he’s an armless, legless- jobless- knight, begging for change, but I find it hilarious. My morbid sense of humor isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. At least he still has his…pride? When I posted one of the work-in-progress photos on Facebook, a friend from college reminded me about the architectural delineation (assistant!) professor who criticized me by sneering, “you need to draw more like a man.” I wonder if he’d still declare my detailed-bloody-stump drawing “girly.” Heh.

I’m not really sure who I’m talking to here.

For anyone who missed it: I am living in Houston again. I am so very grateful for the people who are glad to see me back, but I am upset that I have lost several friends. As much as I might want to, I can’t put blame on them, or the time zone difference, or any excuses of how busy I was before leaving for, or while in, Germany. I caused them to leave, by my inattentiveness.
