Getting Fontsy With It

Click for larger imageThis is the font in my site header. It is available for free download. See the end of this post.

Decided to try creating a font today. After a quick search to see how to do this with a minimum of headachery, I found a site called “YourFonts.” It was very easy to use- I printed out their template form, drew in all my letters, scanned it back in, and hit Submit.

After seeing a preview, I paid $9.95 via PayPal to download the finished font. When the internet hamsters finished working their magic, I received a True Type font file. The letters are a clean translation, and because they are vectors, the font can be used at any point size without a loss of clarity.

I named the font “Seriffic!”

Yes, I know that’s a terrible pun.
To make it up to you, I’m sharing my new font with you, for free.
